Recruit Class XVI - Fire Control Scenarios

Assistant Chief McCarry led two days of practical exercises designed to challenge the recruits to apply the various skills learned throughout the course. Structure fire and automobile fire response were the focus of the activities. The weekend culminated in a timed exercise that required teams of 2 to don their protective equipment, deploy a 200' crosslay, raise a 24' ladder, enter the building via ladder, and remove a mannequin from the 2nd floor. |
