Company Drill - RIT & Ladders

Assistant Chief Evinger, Deputy Chief Schloss, Captain Sisler, and Chief Clarke conducted practical exercises using the smokehouse and training tower at the Arlington County FD Training Academy. Personnel were required to perform a search for a pair of downed firefighters using theatrical smoke to reduce visibility. Once they located the firefighters, they had to work as a team to remove the stricken member. As the RIT training was ongoing, other personnel were practicing the selection and placement of ground ladders. |
