From Washington, DC and points east: - Take I-66 Westbound to Exit 69 (Sycamore Street) - At the end of the ramp turn RIGHT onto Sycamore Street. - At the next traffic light, turn LEFT onto Washington Boulevard. - At the next traffic light, turn LEFT onto LEE Highway. - The firehouse entrance will be on the righthand side at the emergency vehicle traffic light (flashes yellow unless emergency vehicles are exiting). From Washington, DC and points east - (alternate during HOV hours): - Take Route 50 westbound to Route 7 westbound. - Follow Route 7 west into the center of Falls Church. - Turn RIGHT at the intersection with Washington Street (Route 29). - Proceed to the emergency vehicle traffic light (flashes yellow unless emergency vehicles are exiting) and turn left into the firehouse. From Fairfax and points west: - Take I-66 Eastbound to Exit 69 (Washington Blvd./Lee Highway). - Turn RIGHT at the traffic light onto Lee Highway. - The firehouse entrance will be on the righthand side at the emergency vehicle traffic light (flashes yellow unless emergency vehicles are exiting). Via Metro Rail (Walking time from station - 8 minutes): - Take the Orange Line to the East Falls Church station. - When exiting the station, turn LEFT onto Sycamore Street. - Proceed to the traffic light and turn LEFT onto Washington Blvd. - Proceed to the next traffic light and turn LEFT onto Lee Highway. - The firehouse entrance will be on the righthand side at the emergency vehicle traffic light (flashes yellow unless emergency vehicles are exiting). Parking: - Parking for guests is available in the parking lot directly in front of the station. - Overflow parking is available behind the station on N. Little Falls Road. Please Note: All guests are asked to refrain from parking or standing in front of the apparatus bays as this may impede the responses of emergency vehicles exiting the station. |
