Nothing beats a birthday party at the Falls Church Volunteer Fire Department!
Our meeting hall is the ideal place for your child's birthday party. The room is available for birthday parties on Weekends from 9AM until 6PM.
All parties include a tour of the firehouse, a tour of a fire engine and a gear demonstration by one of our firefighters.
Firehouse Tour
Your party will begin with a tour of the fire station. Our firefighters will guide you through all the areas of the station and explain the activities in a firefighters daily routine. From the bunk rooms to the library, and the kitchen to the fitness center -- your guests will see what it's like to work at our station.
The Firetruck
Everyone knows that being a firefighter means riding the firetruck. Here, guests are invited to tour one of our fire engines and even sit in the driver's seat. There is also a special suprise for the guest of honor!
Firefighter Demonstration
The most important thing firefighters have to protect themselves are their turnout gear and breathing apparatus. Our firefighters will demonstrate how they put on their protective equipment and explain how it works. Guests are also invited to try on gear.
Other Details
We will take care of setting up the room for the event. We provide tables and chairs to accomodate however many guests are anticipated along with disposable table cloths, plastic fire helmets, helium balloons, coloring books and sticker badges.
We do not provide food for the event but you are welcome to bring any foods you wish. The hall has a private kitchen equipped with a stove/oven, ice machine, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave oven.
The hall is located on the second floor of the facility and has windows overlooking the station apparatus bay.
The fee for birthday parties is $20 per child. Please consult the Building Use Policy for more information.
