Brendan Meehan joined the department in April, 2010 shortly after moving to Northern Virginia. Prior to joining the department, he lived in Northern Florida where he worked as an EMT for Bradford County Emergency Services and was a volunteer Firefighter / EMT for the High Springs Fire Department.

Since completing the Fire Fighter I course, Brendan can most often be found staffing special events on the EMS Bike Team as well as staffing the BLS Ambulance and frontline apparatus.

Brendan holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida and currently works for The Advisory Board Company in Washington, DC as Healthcare IT Product Manager. He lives in Rosslyn with his wife, Emily, and their dog, Charlie.
