Andrew joined the Department in 2007 after being encouraged to do so by friends who were career and volunteer firefighters in other departments. In his time with the Department, he has completed multiple certifications including Firefighter II, Emergency Medical Technician, and EVOC II. He enjoys staffing the engine and truck as well as the volunteer ambulance.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business Arts in History from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He is originally from West Chester, Ohio and has lived in Northern Virginia since 2005. He currently resides in Arlington County.
